Default Afro-american Haircare?

I've recently relaxed my hair and I want to know what are good brands of shampoos and conditioners to maintain my hair long and healthy? I use infusium 23 and capirelax products. Any suggestions?

Pantene Pro-V Relaxed and Natural all the way. I suggest that or Motions products. If we're talkin Black hair that has been relaxed.
Also, dont forget that just because your hair might be silky and straight now, just because it feels soft to the touch, doesn't mean it needs less conditioning than your hair would in its natural state ((which for most Black is kinkier or dryer to the touch)). Since you have chemically treated your hair, you must take steps that ensure it remains healthy after the stress caused from relaxing. I suggest Elasta QP Recovery Oil Moisturizer ((Not Pink Luster, has too much water, ends up drying the hair out more)) or try Palmers Olive Oil line to keep your hair feeling soft, and conditioned.

Also, I keep using the Infusium, I used to use it when I was younger and it always keep my hair conditioned after washing. So, I think that is still a good choice to make with washing. But for everyday maintenance, maybe try the products I listed to use when styling your hair, or for application before tying your hair up ((silk or satin of course)) before going to bed.

Relaxing the hair causes dryness and weakens it. So think, Hydration, moisture and deep conditioning treatments every time you shampoo. And whatever you do avoid overusing curling irons. I like Goldwell products. For a less expensive option, Optimum has a line specifically geared for relaxed hair that's available just about anywhere. Infusium 23 is a wonderful leave-in, So keep using before styling. Good luck!
