Default What is the best way to take care of your skin, face and body and also hair?

I am trying to develop a routine with my face, hair and body....I know about washing and conditioning but what is a good regimen to start while i am young to keep healthy skin? I don't smoke or drink so I know that helps - and sunscreen - but what type of plan should i start to follow?

Okay, for the hair, use the best shampoos and conditioners money can buy! But I'll le in on a hint, Humectress Moisturizing Conditione and Botanical Shampoo is one of the best product out there and it really works! It makes your hair silky and smooth and later, 3 months to be exact, your hair will become fuller!

For the face, I use this stuff my dermatologist recommand me was this cleansing cloths called "Plexion" and it is admazing! I had ance and it cleared it up after 4 days!

For the entire body, use Aveeno Moisturizing lotion. The best skin protectant out there!

Hope everything helps! I guarantee it would!

First of all, its a good idea to start young. I listen to my mom grip all the time about her tiny little lines around her eyes and BLAH BLAH BLAH!!....Sunscreen really is the best thing for your skin, I would recommend using an already good product with SPF in it. Lots and lots of foundations already have that in them. I'm 19, and I use wrinkle creme at night. I mean, what will it hurt, ya know? Ask your hair dresser for a good shampoo or just go to Sally's and ask them, they will give you the same advice, but may find you something cheaper. Try to avoid blow dying, straighting, perms, dying, etc. Sun is bad for hair and skin. Moisturize your whole body every single day of your life, head to toe. It doesn't matter the brand so much as how it makes your skin look and feel, everyone is different, though I find Eucerin products to work the absolute best. Oh yeah, the first thing to go is the neck!! Moisturize and wash like you would your face! (Seriously women's neck tell their age..and elbows...and hands!!) A balanced diet never hurt anyone either. You'll fall off the wagon a few times, but everyone does..just take care of yourself and you will look fine when your old.

First let me commend you on not smoking or drinking which can severely dehydrate your skin and cause other health issues. I would suggest this, make sure you are taking in an adequate amount of water each day you'd be surprised how much substituting water for juices and soda does for your overall health and especially your skin. Next research which foods can help in maintaining skin, face and body health. For example did you know that if you have a certain type of acne zinc is great in fighting it? I won't tell you to take zinc I'll leave that up to your doctor, he/she would know the dosage to recommend or weather that would be suffucient for the type of skin issue's you might be sufferring from ..but I will say this spinach and romaine lettuce have high dosages of zinc and a salad a day keeps your skin looking great, be careful though many salad dressing are high in calories. Omega's are great for skin you can find that in flaxseed oil. Vitamin's A.C.E. are perfect for keeping your skin looking great find out which foods are high in these and start eating it in moderation. In reference to your hair biotin is a great mineral in which to help keep it strong it also helps in the health of your finger nails, yet again get your doctor's advice on such health issue's. Keep hydrated throughout the day and I commend you on using sunscreen don't forget to use it on all your body parts that will be expose to the sun . If I can be of any more help please let me know =)

You have a good start to having healthy skin! Starting a skin care regimen is important to keeping it healthy. Find a quality product that not only maintains your skin, but helps to repair any damage along the way, and of course use something to protect your newly forming skin...like a broad spectrum sunscreen with a minimum spf of 20 (UVA/UVB).

BeautiControl has great products that grow with you as your skin ages. You start with Skinlogics for 20 and under....then as your skin gets older you move into the Gold, and then when you are 40+ you move into the Platinum. Now that's skin age...not your age. If you start now you may not move into Gold until you are 40. And you can use any of those stages...regardless if you have dry, oil, or combination skin.

Included in a good regimen is:

Cleanser

Toner/Tonic

Scrub

Moisturizer

Repair (exfoliator - alpha hydroxy acids, microderm abrasion, etc.)

Protection (sunscreen, vitamin c, etc)

and All Clear Blemish Block spot treatment for those occasional blemishes.

As for hair...ask your hairstylist. I have used the BeautiControl hair products and my thin hair started to get thicker and fuller. My hairstylist noticed it before I did. ; ) It was pretty cool!

As for a body lotion...Regeneration Extreme Repair Face and Body creme would be a good one. It repairs dry, damaged skin anywhere on the body, especially the face, elbows, knees, legs and heels. Strengthens, thickens and softens skin and increases the skin ability to retain moisture.

Hope that helps!
