Default Do cosmetics and haircare companies really think women are this stupid?

Hyperprotozoid Gangliotics (I just made that term up but it's the sort of made-up thing they tell us they've got in their skincare or haircare product on the adverts). The British Institute of Cuticle Excellence. Yeah! There's a big office block somewhere where people get paid a wage for studying cuticles and no other firm but the one in the advert has got an award from this august institution. Finally, on the ingredients label - 'Aqua', IT'S BLOODY WATER!

Yes, but women fall for it. Over and over and over again! My mum buys every bloody anti-wrinkle cream on the market, and they don't make an ounce of difference! My mum is naturally beautiful and has aged very well, but she is convinced that if she stops forking out for expensive anti-wrinkle formulas she's suddenly going to age 20 years! Eh? Companies do it, women fall for it, drives me insane xx

Yes, I agree with you. And what exactly is the "urea" listed in the ingredients on my handcream?
