Wash your hair as often as is necessary, usually once a week for you, but it may be more or less often than that.
Flat iron it after you blow dry your hair, but make sure you use a thermal protection spray before you do either of those things. Just know that if you get your hair wet or you sweat or it's humid out, your hair will get it's natural curl back. You'll probably want to wrap your hair in a silk cloth at night so that it doesn't tangle. I'm not sure how long or thick or curly your hair is, so I'm having a little difficulty helping you.
