I've had micro braids from June-August, August-October, and I'm getting it redone on the 18th of October and I was wondering if was I ruining my hair?

(I use synthetic hair and I put in a hot oil treatment after I take down the braids/ before I get them redone.

i actually had those same braids for 3 years and i had them done with human hair which is the best type of hair if ure gonna braid it. and after those years my hair was long, and nice, but that didnt last long. and now i deep condtion every week, take biotin, and hot oil treatments. i say leave them in for 3 months, take them out and let ur hair breath for a while before u get them back in. in that time, do deep conditioning, and hot oil treatment, for about a month, because weave esp synthethic can screw up ur hair.
