Need haircare tips for flatironed and blow dried hair! Needs to be revived. ?

Well my hair is brittle and its life-less. I have split ends, but I'm getting my hair cut. My flat iron (kiyosaki styler), sucks. It burnt the hair right off my cousins head! I was shocked..so I'm not using that anymore. I use Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner, which seems to work a bit. But I need a formula or something to revive my hair to be shiny and healthy again.
Any tips?!?!
