I would appreciate any and all tips you have on hair care.

I've been getting my hair professionally done for about 6 years now. However, I'm trying to learn how to do my hair on my own.

Also, what can I do about my poofy hair? I did my perm yesterday for the first time on my own, and now my hair is reeaally frizzy. Should I use a hot curler or a flat iron maybe?

What you need is an soft light oil, youll want to wrap your hair each night using just a small drop rubbing in your hands and using a silk scarf at night. to maintain a style im not sure what kinds of style youre looking for but being african american myself i know our hair can damage easily by using chemicals and heat products. i use plastic rollers the medium ones, i use these at night just roll your hair up all over and when you take them down you have curls that will drop by using a wide tooth rat tail comb your hair will look as if you bumped your hair w/ a curling iron, or just came from the shop, and the small amt of oil will not weigh it down and still allow your hair folicles grow healthy the way it should.... i currently wear micro braids so that i can give my hair a rest from tampering w/ it, but the best method is to try and stay natural leave the weave!!
