Default How should I care for my hair extensions?

I just got the 39 dollar hair extensions from Sally's beauty supply, and I need to wash my hair, but I have used these extensions before and they got yucky the first time I washed them. My mom threw the package away so I didn't get a chance to read the care instructions. I used hot water last time; should I use cold maybe?
