I have a birthday party to go to on thursday night. I wanna look my best, and since it's summer time I thought i'd use a self tanner. I have like fair ivory skin. I used a self tanner like once and it ended horribly with streaks all over my legs and I had to go to school the next day. Oops? Which drugstore selftanner product do you reccomend, and do you have any tips as to how to use and moisturization, etc?

Johnsons is really good as it builds up gradually. Also if you don't want orange knees scrub them before using the tanning lotions as the dead skin on your knees turns them orange!

Use something VERY mild and gradual. Personally I don't advise self-tanner for ivory skin, but if you want to use it, use something subtle, because as you've seen, any mistakes will be painfully obvious.

Use some kind of lotion instead of spray because especially if you have fair skin, you will look streaked if you use spray.
