answer that i wrote for a question like this:
Im sorry to say that ive never been pale in my whole life and i am American/Canadian. But my friend Jenna was always really pale until this summer when she and my Canadian mom started using this stuff called Bain de Soleil orange gelee. And i know wat your thinking" wont it make me turn orange then?" W E l l to answer your question no, you will not look like a carrot at all. Actually both my mom and Jenna started to get tan. The GeleeI comes in a nice tube and squeezes out shiny clear orange jelly thats just about the same feeling as 100/ shea butter if u ever heard of it its at L'ocitane or it also feels like real butter too. You rub it on your back or arms or wherever and lay in the sun and read a magazine or book. It smells super good and works really well. Because its very special the only place ive been able to buy it for my mom and Jenna is Drugstore.com where u can read reviews of wat ppl think of the product. Also i never liked my tan skin and always wanted paler skin than wat i have

I wish u luck and good tanning

another answer i wrote to a similar question that got best answer:
it mainly depends on how exposed to the sun u are, and if you are wearing loads of sunscreen. if your wearing a little sunscreen and a bikini at the beach id suggest reading a fashion mag and taking a small nap. When you tan try to have fun and not focus on getting a tan! If your still not satisfied you can always buy one of those tanner at the drug store like banana boat and jerkins and go out to the beach.
PS: if you can help me with my bikini problem i will be forever grateful!

yours truly, little miss lollypop
ps: i already chose an answer for the bikini question so u dont have to answer it!
psps:the first question was called: Not tan =[ help?
the second question was called: How long does it take to go from medium/light skin tone, to a dark tan, while tanning in the sun?
