Default Can the smell of self tanners be reduced?

I am going out on the lake tomorrow for the first time this summer, and I am super pale (from michigan) I am using jergens self tanning lotion, it is really good but it smells bad. Does any one know how to reduce that smell (perfume does not work) I really want to put on one more application before tomorrow, so I dont blind people, but I don't want to stink them out either...lol
Thanks guys!
