is it true that some types of clothing can absurb perfume longer and keep the scent longer than others, if so, what kind of clothing is that?

I have a wool blend cardy that i love to wear. I have put perfume on it once and have washed it at least 20x and I can still smell my perfume. Good thing is that I dont have to keep putting on my perfume.
