I like the gel nails even tho they both look bout the same, depending on who does it. I just dont like that they cost more.

Gel nails are alot better even though they do cost a little more. They don't yellow out your real nails underneath, and they're alot less harsh. Your nails will still be weak after wearing them for a while, but less brittle and cracked. They also don't fall off as easily, from getting them wet too much or from hitting them on things. I've been wearing gel for a while now, and no matter how hard I've smashed them, I never got a dent, the polish never chipped, and the nail never fell off. I can't tell you how often I had to go back for an acrylic falling off.
Gel nails are so much better, I don't see why anyone would get acrylic.
