I saw on Avon.com, there were these things called Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips. Do they look fake? Do they look good on short nails? And if you go to a manicurist (I can't spell, sorry) to get your nails done, what can you do to keep the polish from peeling, and cracking?? Thank you, in advance!!

The Avon strips look good on any nails, unless your nails are very wide, where they might not fit all the way across. If you go to a manicurist, they usually use a high quality polish, and the most important thing is to let the nail polish dry thoroughly. Because of the number of coats, the top appears dry first, but you need to be patient to let it dry through to the bottom that is against the nail. And be sure to use rubber gloves if doing cleaning or having your hands in water a lot, which will protect the polish even longer.

While i do like Avon a lot, (good products) i have been informed by several people that the nail polish strips are a waste of money. When having your nails professionally done, what they use makes a big difference. If you are having chipping and peeling , someone is not using the right products You need a base coat , polish, and a top coat.
