when ever i put my black eyeliner on the top it just doesn't look so great i don't really know how to explain it , ?

I found how you can put eyeliner on, but no good pics. Sorry, hope this helps! Good luck!

First, keep in mind that not everyone looks good with eyeliner on top. If you are convinced that you will, try to keep the eyeliner sharp and if necessary, soften it by holding the tip under a lighter for about 2 seconds. Then you can apply and always put a coat of eyeshadow on top to keep it from smudging. Mascara should always be applied before the eyeliner and you should always curl your lashes before the mascara. Then...experiment and you will find your look!

It's probably because you are either drawing the line too thick or not drawing it close enough to your lash line. If you're using pencil, try using liquid - the tip is so much skinnier & it's much easier to apply because you can do it in one stroke. Try looking at celebrity pictures to see what it's supposed to look like.
