My friend had bought me mascara for Christmas about a year or two ago, but I hadn't really thought about it until I recently ran out of the tube I was using for the past few months. I know that make up becomes less "safe" or at least more susceptible to bacteria after about six months or less. If it's been closed all this time, is it still safe to use?

Mascara is good for about two years. It will be fine to use if it was unopened. Don't pump the mascara stick though. I learned it dries out faster that way. Instead turn it in a circular motion. Hope I helped!
