...6 months? About 6 months ago I had a party at my house. During the night one of my stupid friends put mascara under my eyes. I washed off almost all of it the next morning, and then left it. A week or so later I started to see that the area under my eyes looked very dark, so I figured that I never did get all of the mascara out. I then tried washing it thoroughly with soap and hot water, but it didn't work. Then I tried makeup remover, but that didn't work either. I got a little worried, but soon forgot about it. Well I guess that it never came off, because I was looking at some pictures of me from a year ago and I saw how much better I looked without this annoying darkness under my eyes. I want to get it out, but it seems that it has now absorbed into my skin. If there is no way of getting it out than is there a way to maybe bleach the skin to cover it up? PLEASE HELP for I do not want to look 5 years older than I really am just because of this mascara.

I think they must have used something else, than mascara, it is not that hard to get off, you could try some skin bleaching cream,,, but i dont really think that is the problem,,, ;You may just have darkness under your eyes. You could get what women use to take the dark circles out from under there eyes. You can find it at wamart. Hope this works.

I agree, it can't be mascara. Even the best waterproof kind washes off with soap and warm water. You must be getting dark circles around your eyes due lack of sleep, stress or simply your genetics. Try natural remedies like holding fresh slices of cucumbers over your eyes and such.... i wouldn't recommend products with any type of non organic chemicals.
