i have VERY straight lashes and i really need a good mascara that can lengthen, add volume, and doesnt wear off!

maybelline Define a lash. Use an eyelash curler first. I have stick straight lashes too - and sometimes I heat up the last curler with my hairdryer - it just takes like 15 seconds and then curl them. The curl stays in much longer!

You might like the Maybelline XXL Curl Power Mascara. I am quite fond of it. The downsides are that not a lot of mascara comes in it, and there is not a waterproof formula yet. The good thing is that it really gives the lashes that extra vava voom. The mascara can cause kind of a spider legs thing with the lashes, but that can be easily fixed with a clean mascara brush or a lash comb. The stuff is a good price at between $5-$6.

If you are willing to spend more though, try Lancome Definicils Waterproof mascara. It lengthens, defines, adds a little extra volume,doesn't clump, and it lasts a while since its waterproof. Its a real top notch mascara that sells for around $23.

Cheap pharmacy mascaras DO NOT WORK. I have straight, short eyelashes and the only thing that works for me is Zoom Lash by MAC. It makes them longer and volumized. It's about 13$ CAN
