i would like to just use foundation to cover up little blemishes and then use powder on the rest of my face will that work?

Yes, you can def. do that. If you have powder foundation, dampen your concealer brush with water, dip it in the powder use it on the blemish, that should help cover it.

I think that is possible.
1.) less is more
2.) with ur fingertips, blend it in very well
3.) powder the blemishes

and ta-da!

Definitely, if it's slightly lighter then your shade.
