Hi, i was wondering if anyone has any advice/tips on covering up zits/blemishes/scars better!
I currently use physicians formula green concealer stick and blend it in with a small brush, and ontop i use maybelline pure makeup, using a sponge to blend it into my skin. ontop of that i use the maybelline pure makeup concealer stick and use the same brush to blend it in. then i top it with cover girl pressed powder.
it covers pretty well, but after a few hours it starts to wear away, and by lunchtime it pretty much looks like i have no makeup on. i re-apply the pressed powder through-out the day, but it dosent really do anything.
if you have any advice to make it stay on longer, please answer!

u really really should try a primer...they make ur makeup stick on!! smashbox does work really great...u should really try it....also, i kinda did the same routine that u do with makeup but i really dont reccomend it ur just gonna get zits...i really reccomend that u try bare essentuals it covers my scars...i have a lot of them by the way and since i began using it i have not had a break out!! u should give it a chance if u havent yet. best wishes!!!

I would definitely recommend using a primer.
It gives the makeup something to hold onto.

If you're looking to invest, which is a good idea, I would recommend Smashbox's Primers. They are the best I've used so far and have been voted "Best of Sephora".

There are different types to smooth out your skin (i.e. green takes away redness like the concealer stick you have, blue smoothes yellowness, and there is one with SPF that is the 42$ one).
