hi hun! i work at sephora and no they dont have to be the same brand!

ok so you would put on your liquid foundation first, then concealer, then the powder to mattify! depends on what type of coverage you like but if its light/medium i would reccomend cargo for powder and liquid, if its full coverage i would reccomend laura mercier! love it i use it. and for a concealer i love time balm by the balm! they all work great. and remember to apply blush so you dont look pale! i love MAC blushes i know i know i work at sephora but hey i like all make up! hope i helped

Concealer then foundation and then powder. If you are using the same consistency and color like powder concealer and powder foundation you can actually use a little bit of concealer to touch it up on top of the foundation and blend it in.

Foundation and powder are not the same thing. Traditionally it's a cream or liquid foundation with pressed powder on top. If you use mineral powder foundation, the foundation is a powder and the traditional "powder" is actually a finishing powder you lightly dust on top.

In response to the last person who answered, powder and foundation aren't necessarily the same thing. Concealer is always first. Then pu on your foundation (most people use a liquid foundation), and then put on the powder. Lots of people only put powder in their T-zone (Forehead, nose, and chin) to avoid too much of a dried out look, but lots of people put it all over their face too.

No they do not all have to be the same brand, although personally, I like to keep my foundation and powder the same brand. But that's just a personal preference.

well it goes concealer then foundation (powder is foundation, foundation comes in either powder or liquid or some are liquid that turn to powder)

concealer is used for spot touch ups like covering a zit or other blemish, then the foundation evens out the whole skin tone

nope they dont have to be the same brand just find one that works for you and you like
