I need a concealer because of my acne scars. When i go through the aisles i never see the words concealer, I see "make-up". Is that the same as concealer? I bought some foundation too but, it desont cover anything. What is it used for?

make up means anything that is like mascara, eyeliner concealer foundation yeahh

I think 'make-up' refers to the whole range of products for making-up, such as foundation, eye-shadow, concealer, lip stick, highlighter and etc...Whereas, concealer is just a subset of make-up that helps to conceal flaw...

If I'm not wrong, foundation is used to even off the color of ur face....it doesnt hav much of concealing purposes...

What we do is usually apply concealer, then foundation, and follows on.....

concealer= covers acne and scars
foundation(liquid)= evens skin tone
foundation(powder)= sets liquid so it will stay on longer and it just sets it

concealer should be labelled...always in tubes, pens, thin tall lipstick/lip gloss pckaging
