most stores have testers.. i would put some right along your jawbone while your shopping. the fluoresent light in there can sometimes make it hard to tell.. but usually that's what kind of lighting people see you in anyway so it works out. the ideal way would be to take it outside, try it on for size and try one by one until you find your perfect shade! but that's not the way the world turns

You have to test the colors to find the right shade. Also, if you have a certain skin type (oily, dry, etc.) you want to make sure you get a concealer that matches your skin type. Get the sales lady to help you at the make up counter, but don't let them make you buy a bunch of stuff you don't need or the most expensive stuff they have. They will try and do that.
