I know before the veil. But before or after the first foundation powder?

The instructional DVD that comes with the intro kit says you can apply it either before (called pre-concealing) or after you put on the powder foundation. I usually put it on after because I find it covers better for me that way. I have tried pre-concealing but it didn't cover as well as I like.

Definetely after, and go a shade lighter than the foundation..otherwise it's covered by the conditioner, and i have just heard so many makeup shows saying after, it stays on better, and you can even put some no colour powder to set it. shouldl do the trick!

Concealer goes first, then foundation (any type: liquid, stick, powder), then finishing powder. The first time I used a mineral foundation, I wasn't happy with the result because I'd assumed incorrectly that I didn't need powder, too, since it *was* a powder.

Since bare minerals is a powder foundation you apply the concealer before. If you apply it after you won't be covering up but highlighting them more.

For future reference you apply concealer AFTER any other foundation. This is because if you apply it before, when you put your foundation most of it will wipe away and there goes your hard work! Although you can use it before if you choose for those small blemishes. But you may find yourself reaching for more.

You can see alot of people differ on whether you put concealer before or after. Some people prefer a certain way. So if you find that your cocnealer looks better put on after than that would be how you should do it. But it is guarenteed to look better if you put the concealer on before the powder foundation and after a liquid.

good luck. If you still find yourself with a bad coverage, it may just be the way you apply it. Use a concealer brush, use a light hand and blend blend blend!.

You may also find that your foundation make fall into your creases and edges of pealing skin if your face is really dry. So use a moisturizer before you put on any make-up (let it dry before applying make up aswell)
