Default When Putting A Concealer On...?

When putting concealer on it usually works fine but the problem is on my chin it looks kind of crusty. Probably because i get the odd pimple, maybe not...I'd love if it could just look smooth and have no distinct look of dryness. I use a prescription for dry skin which works exceptionally well. I'd just like some advice or reasons to why this is happening.

Thanks, i'll give best answer!

Do you use a brush to put it on? Usually that works better as it goes on more evenly and smoothly. Maybe you also need to put some powder or foundation over the top. Oh and use moisturiser before hand!

Get a loose powder to brush over the top..

it will fill in any cracks and make it smooth and peachy

You need to wash, moisturize then apply your concealer. Hope this helps. I have been using Olay Moisturizer, Original for over 10years and it really works good

about once a week you should use a soft scrub or microdermabrasion

Do you rub the concealer in ? Try patting it in instead . It works better that way .

Moisturize well, then let that sit for a few minutes.
Then Rub this:

all over your face, to prime it for concealer.

then apply your concealer, with a brush.

then put this powder

over it, with this brush

Concealer dries out the skin.

I've had the same problem and so have some of my friends.

If, like me, you wear concealer everyday, it may be best to find another product, or stop wearing it altogether up until it clears itself up.

I don't use concealer anymore because I've had so many problems with it.
I use a bit of foundation, works fine.
