HOW DO YOU GET CONCEALER TO NOT GO ON CAKEY?

I have tried them all! but up close you can see it. everyone says its not a big deal since you can't see it from a regular distance, but I DO NOT WANT IT NOTICEABLE!

possible?

PS: I am pretty white if that matters.
