I've started using foundation and concealer and am having a little problem.

I don't use them all at once, so no need to worry. The problem I'm having is with my concealer. I apply my foundation first (I've been using the Maybelline) and then the concealer around my eyes. When the lady at Sephora did it, it looked really smooth and blended with my skin upclose. It looks fine from far away, but upclose it looks bad. When I do it, it looks too light for my skin and you can kinda see the brush strokes.

My question is, am I applying them wrong?
Also how can I make use of what I have? Like, using all three, or pairing them up.

One of the foundations I have is a liquid, the shade is sandy beige.

Use minneral makeup like bare essentials it really does make your skin even and GLOW, great stuff I usually don't even were makeup but it really does make you look picture purfect ( well at least your skin anyways ) good luck!

If you are applying the concealer with the applicator provided, try using putting a little concealer on a makeup sponge and applying that way. It may blend in better.

Also, makeup companies formulate their products to work together. If you are using all different name brand products, that may be why it doesn't look as good as when you were at Sephora.
