What concealer is best?

I have a bit of acne and acne fade marks. Nothing huge, but it bothers me! I would like to buy some good quality makeup (brands I know I like are Clinique and Bobbi Brown, but I would try others. Is Benefit or MAC good?) What do you recommend? I was thinking about the Acne Clinique pencil concealer. Thanks!
