Default Ladies do you know any good concealers/foundations/powder for dark

brown-skinned women? I can't seem to find a concealer/fountain/powder that matches my skin tone. I've tried Black Opal, Posner, and Fashion Fair. Please help b/c I want to be able to wear makeup and it look natural.

I've read good reviews on Iman cosmetics - heard the line has quite a good range for women of colour.

Sorry I can't help much as brands like Iman and those you mentioned in your question are not available in my country.

I think the trick to wearing make-up and having brown skin is to use products that are not made specifically for African-Amer. Fashion Fair, for example, is nothing but oil. I use Mary-Kay/M*A*C. Mary-Kay makes the most amazing foundation I've ever used next to M*A*C. I absolutely love the cream to powder foundation. As for M*A*C their 'Studio Fix' make-up is to die for. It blends so nicely.

Try Bobbi Brown. The Golden Orange 3 works just fine for me. i discovered it after years of 'managing' with MAC.

I would suggest you try Mary Kay. It is the only thing I've ever used and I've gotten tons of complements from men and women alike who say how natural it looks. I've even converted my mother who had previously sworn by Fashion Fair. Additionally, MK allows you to try before you buy and there is a money back guarantee on ALL MK products.

....have you tried M.A.C?

Also, a concealer should be a shade lighter than your skin. Foundation should be a shade lighter or matching. You can always make it look 'darker' if need be or....use a pressed powder. I use an illuminating powder over my foundation powder (M.A.C.'s studio fix)

Prescriptives used to mix colors for a matching tone but I don't know how varied their 'women of color' selection is...if they have any at all.

Goodluck to you!
