Default Concealer/foundation brushes?

I've been thinking of getting either a concealer or foundation of some good quality, (probably from MAC) i would like to know if concealer and foundation brushes really provide a "flawless" finish. I've been told they're the way to go if you want flawless coverage. is it really worth it?
