of course girls can use hair gel.... maybe try a mousse from herbal essence to not make it hard..... but having it hard is not a bad thing. herbal essence has a mousse called set me up as well..... actual gel is usually used for the 'wet hair' look or 'beachy sexy' look.... ** try the mousse and apply it when you get outta the shower
