put it on around your eye...the liquid eyeliner, it's okay if you mess up, do your best. then grab a q-tip, lick one end, even the waterproof will come up, and clean it up. if you want that emo smudged look then take a tissue enstead and run it over the messy eyeliner then you can clean it up a little with the q-tip. Try not to press too hard with the tissue cuz you only want to smudge it, not clean it off.
