I think what your stylist was getting at by saying that pantene is bad is that all cheap drug store brands are bad. This is my question...if the shampoo is like $4 and the company is making a profit, how cheap do you think the ingredients are in that product? All of those brands use heavy polymers and waxes that give the illusion of it making your hair nice and silky, but it's really just leaving a waxy coating on the surface of your hair and not doing anything. You should use some professional brands that your stylist recommends and buy them at her salon. I know it's a little more expensive but the quality is so much better, and they last longer too, you don't have to use as much. Plus your hair is your permanent accessory so you shouldn't cheap out on it : )
