I have a Timneh African Grey, and his nails are starting to get long. Particularly his middle nail because it only makes minimal contact with his grooming perch. However, he's a bit of a brat and throws a tantrum and squawks and tries to fly away whenever I try to clip his nails. He's a well-behaved and lovable bird with the exception of this. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can clip his nails without torturing him and accidentally injuring him because he won't stay still?
