Default Re: Spray Foundation? or liquid foundation?

I was recently at the Dior counter trying to find a tinted moisturizer for summer. The sales lady tried Dior Flash and HydraTint on me, one on each half of my face, and I really liked the Flash. I have very dry skin and it didn't accentuate that like some do. She said it doesn't need powder either and it is good for every skin type. My only complaint is that I am a natural look kind of girl and, although I went to try a lighter summer foundation, she put bronzer, blush, and shimmer brick on me and then used an eyebrow pencil. By the time she finished, I couldn't tell much about the foundation anymore so I didn't buy anything. But, I will probably buy the Flash when I run out of my other stuff. It felt nice, not heavy or cake-y, covered well, and seemed to last. She also said its great for humid climates.

The negative - She said you are to apply it by spraying it on your face in a Z pattern, but she added that you can spray it on the back of your hand and use a foundation brush or sponge to apply. Which ever way you apply it, it seems like you might end up with waste. At $60 a pop, you can't afford to waste a drop. I will also add this, I had sunglasses on my head and the overspray got on them. I didn't realize it until later and I had to scrape the little droplets off my glasses - it just dried where the spray landed and didn't smudge or smear on my lenses.

You might also want to try Dior's Forever Skin Line. It is available in powder and liquid.
