i like the blinc mascara for average, everyday wear. it's completely waterproof and smudgeproof- through swimming, tears, the whole nine yards. it doesn't give you a lot of volume or length though so I wear L'Oreal's Full Defintion Voluminous Mascara for nights/dramatic looks.
